Trichocereus bridgesii var. monstrose - The monstrose variety of Trichocereus bridgesii is prized by cactus collectors because of its relative scarcity. This variety is slower growing than standard members of the bridgesii species.
Our offering of these mature, established Trichocereus bridgesii var. monstrose cactus, we planted from cuttings over 8 years ago. You will receive the entire cactus roots and all!
Description: This TBM is established with 12 branches. amass short upright sections up to 10-15cm tall by 5 cm in diameter, light glaucous green, with areoles and spines in the base. A particularity of this plant from other cacti is that the buds emerge through the epidermis above an areole. Spines are Honey-coloured to brown, located around the base, in groups of up to 4, up to 4–7 cm long.
We have limited stock of these mature, large, rare and curious cacti.
